Be Shaping The Future employee becomes co-chair of the Berlin Group openFinance

We congratulate our colleague Dr Steffen Weiß on his appointment as Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of Berlin Group openFinance. In this role, he will lead the board for the next two years together with Ralf Ohlhausen.

For many years, the Berlin Group openFinance has been one of the key European institutions for the standardisation and further development of open banking and payment interfaces. In particular, by defining and continuously developing open standards, it makes a significant contribution to the interoperability, innovative capacity and stability of the European financial ecosystem.

The election as Co-Chair underscores both the professional expertise and long-standing commitment of our colleague in the field of open banking and payment transactions. At the same time, it is an expression of the trust that the Berlin Group places in his experience and ability to actively shape the strategic development of the standards.
We congratulate Dr Steffen Weiß on taking on this additional role and wish him every success in this task.
