The brief
Be STF was mandated to carry out a detailed study for an Austrian bank with an international network:
- to assess the existing SWIFT architecture and infrastructure, its interfaces with the application landscape, the hub role towards foreign subsidiaries
- to verify the resilience of the overall architecture in terms of processing capacity for current transaction volumes
Our approach
Regular working sessions with the client and a detailed analysis of the technical elements by Be STF’s specialists enabled us to identify precisely the causes of the dysfunctions and to propose pragmatic solutions to remedy them.
Our international experience also enabled us to deliver elements allowing us to compare the technical configuration of the architecture with that of other pan-European players.

This first mission allowed the client to measure be STF’s capacity to analyse complex technical architectures and it was therefore natural that he called on us again to carry out an audit mission required by the regulatory authorities on SWIFT Infrastructure.
